Editing Permit Conditions
Permit Conditions include special information to be added to the application, such as phone numbers for PennDOT contacts.
As an example, permit condition code 300 reads: Contact district permit office at least 3 work days prior to start of work at ___ ___-____. When blanks appear in a condition, the reviewer adding the condition should fill the blanks with appropriate text, such as a contact phone number, a date, or a fee amount.
Reviewers and Responders must be assigned to an application in order to edit conditions. They cannot edit conditions added by other review team members.
Editing Conditions
To edit permit conditions:
1. Click Work Queue to locate applications assigned to you. Click the application number to open its Application Information screen.
2. Click Permit Conditions. The Permit Conditions screen appears. If you add a new condition, click Save.
3. If editing condition text, click the Condition Code. The Manage Permit Conditions screen displays the editing window for the selected condition.
4. Edit the text as needed. Complete blank spaces (phone numbers, names, etc.).
5. Click Save & Exit to return to the Permit Conditions screen. Note that the Changed column indicates that you made changes to the standard text.
6. Continue adding or editing permit conditions as needed.
7. Click Save & Exit to return to the Application Information screen.
Including or Excluding Conditions
Level 1 Reviewers can include or exclude permit conditions added by level 2 and level 3 reviewers. Level 2 Reviewers can include or exclude permit conditions added by level 3 Reviewers.
To include or exclude permit conditions:
1. Click Work Queue to locate applications assigned to you. Click the application number to open its Application Information screen.
2. Click Permit Conditions. All permit conditions added by Reviewers will be listed.
3. To include a condition in the final response, click its Include dropdown box. Click Yes to include it.
4. To exclude a condition from the final response, click the Include dropdown box. Click No to exclude it.
5. Continue to include and exclude conditions until each Include box is complete for all conditions listed.
6. To add a new condition, click Edit. Use the Selection screen to locate and add one or more new conditions.
7. Click Save to save the conditions. Click Save & Exit to save the conditions and return to the Application Information screen.
