Logging in to CIMS
The PennDOT ePermitting System (EPS) login screen is available to PennDOT business partners and employees. However, the only users that can log in to use CIMS are authorized PennDOT Central Office or District Permit Managers.
The ability to login to EPS requires a user to have a valid ECMS (Engineering and Construction Management System) user ID. Please see the EPS administrator if you do not have one.
Access to CIMS is gained through EPC on the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation website at www.dot.state.pa.us/
1. Click Services & Software.
2. Click PennDOT Online Services.
3. Scroll to and click ePermitting. The Login screen appears.
4. Enter a Login ID and tab to the next field.
5. Enter a Password.
6. Click Login. The ePermitting Account Portal screen appears.
7. Click the CIMS (CIMS Portal) link on the tool bar. The CIMS Portal screen appears.
