Marking an Engineering Firm as Deactivated

Adding a New Engineering Firm to an Issued Permit

After a permit is issued, the Engineering Firm(s) involved with the project may change. You cannot delete an Engineering Firm off the permit record; however, you can indicate that an Engineering Firm is no longer involved with the project by deactivating them. To do so:

1.      Access the Application Information page of an issued permit application that was issued with at least one Engineering Firm.

2.      Click on the Applicant Team link under Application Setup. The Applicant Team Information page will display.

3.      Under the Engineering Firm Info section, click on the hyperlinked ID number of the engineering firm you want to deactivate. The Engineering Firm Information page for that engineering firm will display.

4.      Select Active>Deactivate.

5.      Save and Exit.

Note that Deactivated engineering firms:

·        Will no longer receive Emails sent to the Applicant Team.

·        Will no longer be able to create a supplement for that permit.

·        Will not be able to view any supplements created after it was deactivated.

·        Will not be able to edit the Applicant Team page.
