The Permit screen displays a PDF version of Highway Occupancy permit, either as a watermarked draft, or as the final version. All relevant Adobe® PDF controls are available, enabling display, search, and printing of the permit as with any PDF file.

A Highway Occupancy permit displays in draft format if:

·        A permit must be recorded with the County Recorder's Office

·        A permit has been Conditionally Approved but has not yet been recorded

·        When the Responder sends the application to an authorizer

The permit is issued when the Responder or Authorizer clicks Post Response on the Permit Screen tab for a permit.  When this occurs, the following actions are performed:

·        Warning message is displayed; informs Responder that no changes can be made to the Application after the Response is posted.

·        Application is checked to ensure necessary data has been posted.

·        Email notifications are sent to the Applicant Team and the Review Team that the review is complete and the details of the response are available online.

·        Event is posted – Response Posted.

·        Responder’s Review Status is finalized.

After the permit is issued, the Permit Screen tab is used to view the details of that permit.

Draft permits do not require or contain an Issue Date or Expiration Date.

A final version of the permit is issued to the applicant after the county recording process is complete or when the Authorizer posts the response and indicates that recording of the permit is not required.

Permits can range from one to many pages, depending on the number of work locations, work descriptions, conditions required for the permit.

Permits or licenses can be cancelled or revoked from this screen using the Cancel Permit or Revoke Permit buttons.

A supplement application can be created from this screen using the Create Supplement button.
