When an account is inactivated, it can never be reactivated. If a customer account is inactivated, all billing accounts also are inactivated. However, a billing account can be inactivated without affecting the customer account.
To inactivate a customer or billing account:
1. Search for and open the account to be inactivated. The Account Information screen appears.
2. Click the Inactivate button. The account selection page appears.
3. Select the customer account to inactivate, or
4. Select one or more billing accounts to be inactivated.
5. Click Save. The billing account status changes to Inactive.
NOTE: An active or suspended customer account must have at least one billing account.
